Ash Burton

 I think I'm falling in love... musically, of course. I've been listening to Kate Bush tonight and am furious with myself for not paying her genius any attention until now. God, I love her music so much. It's just the best feeling in the world when you feel you have a connection with music. Kate Bush is now up there with Grace Slick, Patti Smith and Janis Joplin in my favourite women in music. I'm not sure who my favourite men in music are... Trent Reznor, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Rocky Erickson, perhaps.

 
 

 In a few hours I'll be ordering my fancy-pants camera! I've been waiting to do this for over half a year now and finally I'm going to get it! Also, if I get my tax back I can afford to get my iPod so that's even better. I'll have to pay my dad back a little but that's okay. I'll be setting up a photography site very shortly and taking lots of pictures and hopefully I can attract a little bit of work through it.



 
 

Upon the success of my last post I've decided to post another... about ten minutes or so after.

 Today I got up at one o'clock. I've been working so much lately and it's really getting to me. I'm pretty sure the shifts I'm working are illegal but I'm a bit worried about talking to the manager about it.
 


 
 

 So this is my first entry. I'll keep it short as there's not much to say.
 
 I'm aiming to write something here as regularly as I can, hopefully every day but whether or not that will actually happen...
I'm not quite sure how Livejournal works so I'm just working it all out at the moment and hopefully I'll come across a few interesting people... somehow.

 Hopefully anything I write in the future will be more interesting but this is more of a test to see how I work this thing. :P
